One of the things we love to do... well, One of the things I love to do, is to visit car and motorcycle museums wherever we find them; Kathy generally stays in the motorhome and is happy to have me occupied for a couple of hours. These museums range from the well known to the obscure;
from destination spots we’d heard of in advance to museums we’ve literally just driven past; from national museums to one-man collections.  As a long time enthusiast, driver and rider, I love the chance to experience the history of machines and to learn more about cars and bikes from different countries and different eras.  I also have a life long interest in the history of car and bike racing and the drivers and riders who’ve made it all happen over the years.

In our travels we’ve come across some great collections, along with some interesting plane museums and even the occasional train museum as well.  Every once in awhile we’ll even get to tour a factory or catch a race somewhere.  I thought it would be fun to share more pictures of all these places than we’ve been able to within the context of our travel reports.  So, on these pages and the photo pages linked to them we’ll share brief descriptions of our favorite places to see great machines along with a representative collection of photos we’ve been able to take at each location.  As always, our hope is that you will not only enjoy our information, but will be encouraged to go out and visit one of these museums or others that may be closer to home.

Click to visit either North America, where you will find our favorite places in the US;

Or Europe, where we’ve visited over thirty-five museums and other sites in fifteen countries so far. Also on this page is a true shrine of motor racing in Argentina, the Juan Manuel Fangio Museum.
